Agnes is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law. She has a breadth of experience in all areas of family breakdown with a particular focus on complex financial issues. She has expertise in jurisdictional disputes, enforcement and injunctive relief, Hague proceedings, and appeals. The majority of Agnes’ cases involve significant assets and concern asset tracing, trust structures, inherited assets and family loans, and owner-controlled businesses.
Agnes advises regularly in negotiating and drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial financial agreements.
Agnes is a strong mediator and litigator and regularly appears at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia including in the appellate jurisdiction. She is a fierce and passionate advocate and has significant experience running both interim and final hearings.
Agnes has a special interest in wills and estate planning, particularly where multifaceted family dynamics and blended families are involved. She understands the unique challenges that can arise when navigating modern family structures and is committed to helping clients protect their wishes and ensure clarity for loved ones.
